I'm afraid I don't have an answer to your problem. When you say that "...after less than an hour the server start dropping the connections.", does the client display an error message, or will an operation take for ever and never finish at the client? Can you communicate with the NT server at all? Check NT?s logs for clues as well as the StarTeam server logs. Last week a customer reported a similar problem and they too had to restart the StarTeam server process. The clients displayed and hourglass and that?s the way they stayed until the server had been rebooted, at which time the clients had to logon to the server again. Their problem was that users were changing the default working folder to a non-existing local disk and then tried to check out files to this disk.
